Forecast: All districts: mainly moderate northerlies about Cook Strait; winds elsewhere light and variable; fine; high temperatures inland in the afternoon; areas of morning low cloud or fog chiefly in east coast areas; a few isolated showers about the ranges in the afternoon. Outlook: cloud increasing in Buller and Westland, with drizzle patches in the south; mainly fine elsewhere. FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT
