Inquiries At Manawatu
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, October 21. The following is the stipendiary steward’s report from last night’s trotting meeting at the Manawatu Raceway:— Rocky Star, which fell in the Victory Handicap, was declared ineligible to start at a totalisator meeting up to and including December 15, 1964. He fell with three furlongs to go and in the mix-up Coinsman lost his driver and Sonic was pulled up. In the rush for positions at the start of the Westmere Handicap, Valiant Sandy received damage to his sulky and was pulled up. Southern Song was checked when Simmonds broke with a round to go in the Victory Handicap.
