Cars Overturn In Collisions
Two persons were injured when cars overturned in separate collisions in Christchurch last evening. Kieron Platts, aged 15, of 17 Havelock street, suffered shock and concussion when the car he was in and a bus collided at the corner of High and Tuam streets about 7.45 pm. The car hit a pole and rolled over. The youth was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition was reported to be satisfactory. Mr B. R. Dalton, of 262 Breezes road, suffered arm and hand injuries when the car he was driving and a taxi collided at the corner of Stanmore road and Avonside drive about 8.25 pm. Mr Dalton’s car rolled over and his arm was caught in a door. He was treated at the Christchurch Hospital and discharged.
