Trial Lamb Sales Doubled
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 21. The trial promotion of lamb in Canada had exceeded all expectations, according to the “New Zealand Meat Producer,” journal of the Meat Board. It said sales had more than doubled in the last year. A spokesman said today a similar campaign was planned for Eastern Canada early next year when there would also be further promotion in British Columbia.
Concord Project—The British Aviation Ministry said yesterday it was too early to anticipate if the new Labour Government’s economy plans would include scrapping the £2BO million Anglo-French project to produce the revolutionary Concord jet airliner.—(London, October 20.)
