Results from the second round of the Opawa night tennis club’s inter-club competition are:— Barrington 28 games, Sumner 24; Elmwood I 3, Avonside 1; Opawa II 4, Opawa 111 0; Opawa V 2i, Fendalton It; Redcliffs II 3 sets, 27 games. Hospital 3 sets, 27 games; Opawa I 3, North Linwood 1. Tennis Increase.— An increase of 11 teams, from 54 last season to 65 this year, was reported to the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association's management committee last evening. Hole In One.—G. Worsdale holed in one at the seventh hdle at the Waimairi Beach Golf Club recently. He was using a No. 7 iron.
