A house on a section of 76.3 perches at 10 Bryndwr road, ; Fendalton, was sold for £5650 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of John Morgan Duxbury by Mr R. Holland. The land can be subdivided into three sections. A bungalow at 678 Worcester street, Linwood, was sold for £2OOO. The property was offered on account of the estate of John Peritins by Mr J. Dyer. The opening bid was £l7OO. There were three bids of £lOO. Oven Fire,—An oven fire in the home of Mr N. Lange, 14 Acheson avenue, at 3.59 p.m. yesterday caused no damage. Firemen from Headquarters and St Albans stations attended.
