Mars, Covray Likely In. Wanganui Double

"The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND, October 18. Mars and Covray will be a strongly fancied combination for the double at the Wanganui Trotting Club’s meeting at the Manawatu Raceway, Palmerston North, tomorrow night. The meeting was to be held yesterday but was postponed because of the weather. The second night of the meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday night will now be held on Wednesday night. Mars, which has a record this season of one start for one win, will have only seven rivals to contend with in the first leg, the Wanganui Handicap.
