Another Club?
Another farm improvement club may be formed in Canterbury. This is the objective of a meeting to be held in the Fernside Hall next Thursday evening of farmers in the .district approximately between the Waimakariri and Kowal riven. The principal conveners of the meeting are two farmers in the Fernside and Ohoka districts. One has remained a member of the Lauriston Farm Improvement Club in MidCanterbury sinee he moved from the district.
and interest in the idea of forming a club has grown since a field day was held on his farm earlier in the year. Dr. 3. D. Stewart, acting head of the farm management department at Lincoln College, and Mr G. A. Frengiey, who is a lecturer in the same department, will be speakers at the meeting.
