Auckland Trip Abandoned
"The Press" Special Service WINGATUI, October 2. The Wingatul trainer, J. S. McKay, cancelled his plans for a trip to Ellerslie with Fine Chase, Lord Fair, and Royal Burgh, but Fine Chase may race at the Wellington spring meeting this month. The Foxshar gelding has been entered for the hack hurdles races. The former Wingatul-tralned Corduroy has also been entered for the hurdle races at Trentham. The Red Mars gelding was recently purchased by a Wellington owner. He went north last week-end and Is now being trained at Otaki by B. V. A. Preston
