Mr Hanan To Attend U.N.

WELLINGTON, Oct. 2. The Attorney-General (Mr Hanan) will attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York and the Colombo Plan Consultative Committee meeting in London. The Prime Minister (Mr Hoiyoake) said today the General Assembly’s session would normally have convened in mid-September but the opening date had this year been postponed until November 10. The annual ministerial meeting of the .Colombo Plan Consultative Committee, from November 17 to 20, would conduct a review of economic developments in South and South-east Asia.
