Folk Dancing
The climax to a team’s folk dancing by the three Lyttelton primary schools, Lyttelton Main, West and St Joseph’s Convent was a display on , Wednesday night. Dances ranging from English country reels to a sequence from “West Side Story” were performed by 120 children. The schools combined on three special dances and each did three other folk dances. They also taught one another one type of dance that they had learnt.
