Hire Purchase Agreements (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON,. October 2. The tiny print which can put more into a hire-purchase agreement than meets the eye will soon be Illegal in Britain, says the “Daily Mail.” . ’ New regulations announced by the Board of Trade last night will cut out small-print clauses. From January 1, agreements must be “easily legible” with minimum sizes of print. The type must be Roman, or upright sans sprif, and the heigh of the smallest letter must not be less than 0.056 of an inch.
