INJURED BY MINE PROP
< I.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Oct. 2. A Kaitangata coal miner, Arnold Rogers, aged 23, single, suffered serious chest injuries in an accident in the State mine on Monday. Rogers was clearing and timbering a fall in the mine. A piece of stone lying against a pillar of coal, slid and dislodged a prop which struck him in the chest.
