Hard Task
The New Zealand wrestlers, A. Greig and A. R. Meehan, performed well in India during the visit of the New Zealand team there this year but India now can hardly be regarded as one of the top wrestling nations. Russia, Turkey, Iran and Japan produce the leading wrestlers and it is difficult to see the New Zealand representatives matching the experience of men from these countries where wrestling occupies a far more prominent place than it does in New Zealand. However, both New Zealand wrestlers are skilful and courageous and if they cannot be expected to finish very high in the order they should not be disgraced.
