Justice Mac Looks Promising In Trial

PALMERSTON NORTH, October .1. Justice Mac, a promising back engaged in the Robson Hack Handicap at Stratford on Saturday, worked well in his final trial at Awapuni today. So did Red View, which is a candidate for the President's Handicap at Stratford, a raCe he won last year. Red View worked the plough and ran seven furlongs in Imin 33sec, the last three in 40sec. He worked easily- and should be close at the end of his race this week. Grand Coeur, which will be a Waipukurau Cup prospect, took 54 4-ssec for half a mile and did it easily. Llansgaro, a fit maiden engaged at Stratford, left half a mile behind in 53sec. the last three furlongs in 39 2-ssec. Hi-Ho ran three furlongs in 41J sec and Lord Tuckey took 42sec in a similar task. Akubra and Tilly Light worked well in preparation for Stratford when they finished seven furlongs together in Imin 33 3-5
sec, the last three in 40 3-ssec. Bright Dale joined in at the five but he finished behind the other two. Akubra and Tilly Light are ready for bold efforts at Stratford. Flockhart, which is preparing for Waipukurau, ran an easy seven furlongs In Imin 42sec, the last three in 44sec. Kamina. a fit Stratford candidate, left seven furlongs behind in Imin 36 2-ssec, the last three in 41 1- Saturnian was timed over seven furlongs in Imin 37 2- the last three in 40 3-5 sec.. He should be hard to beat at Stratford. On the inside trial Justice Mac completed half a mile in 49 4-ssec, the last three in 38sec.
