Penalty To Draw, 3-3
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 1. The New Caledonian soccer team showed considerable improvement on its first effort in Auckland when it drew, 3-3, with the Auckland representative team at Newmarket Park today. At one time Auckland led 3-1 but the New Caledonians fought back and finally equalised five minutes from time wmo a penalty. R. Clews (2) and G. Eccles ■cored for Auckland, and M. Akoun (2) and G. Massenyi for New Caledonia.
