Df. R. C. Cambie, of the chemistry department, University of Auckland, has been award the I.C.L prize for 1964 by the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry. Mr M. M. Berry, of Dunedin, the district commissioner of apprenticeship, has accepted an appointment, by the International Labour Office to take up an apprenticeship advisory post in Indonesia under the United Nations technical assistance programme. He expects to assume his duties—advising Indonesia in the introduction of apprenticeship training—about mid-Novem-ber.—(P.A.)
