Brisker Market But Trend Irregular
Trading was brisker on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, but the trend was still irregular with New Zealand issues in balance and overseas stocks easier. A. J. White, in first sales since news of increased profit, gained Is 3d to a peak 21s 6d, Wilson Malt, traded for the first time in several weeks, rose 3s to 245, while Floor Tiles advanced 2s 6d more to 40s. Farmers’ Fertiliser old and B came into line at 565.
C.F.M. edged back 6d to 525, South British B lost 9d to 51s 9d and John Chambers slipped further to 225.
