DELEGATES MISSING
Apologies Not Received The poor attendance records at meetings during the year of some delegates to the Canterbury Rowing Association was criticised by the president, Mr B. R. Walker, at the annual meeting last evening. Of the 20 delegates only two had attended all six meetings, while nine had managed to attend not more than two. Mr A. H. Gould said that no representatives of the three outside clubs were present tonight and no apologies had been received. "Not a very happy state of affairs," commented Mr Walker Clubs should be told when delegates do not attend meetings so that they can take action to replace them. "The situation reflects the growing tendency towards an irresponsible way of life,” said Mr W. G. Richards.
