Boat Seized By South Korea (N Z Press Assn—Copyright) TOKYO, Sept 30. Japan today filed a strong protest with South Korea against an “illegal” seizure of a Japanese fishing boat by a South Korean patrol boat for alleged violation of the Rhee fishing boundary on the Japan Sea. The Foreign Ministry said the September 18 capture of the 84-ton Shotokou Mani with a crew of 10 took place “on the open sea south of South Korea.”
