FARMER KILLED
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, Sept. 30. A fanner was killed on the East Coast highway at 6.25 tonight when his car and another collided. He was: George Harris, in his midfifties, married, of Whitiwhetu station. The crash occurred about a i mile north of the Tatapouri Hotel. The occupants of the other car, Mr and Mrs E. C. Loisel, of Tolaga Bay, escaped with shock and abrasions. They were admitted to a private hospital which reported their condition to be satisfactory.
