Japanese Buying Of Wool
Japan bought about 44 per cent of all wool sold in Australia in July and August, according to Federal Government statistics. It took 71,358,0001 b of wool out of offerings of 162,307,0001 b and its purchases were almost four times more than Australia’s second biggest wool buyer—the United Kingdom.
