Shrub Thieves Active

Complaints about the theft of plants and shrubs from private gardens, particularly in Fendalton and Bryndwr, have been made almost daily to the police. The firm has offered a reward of £lO for information leading to the conviction of the offender. “Conifers, flowering cherries. camellias and magnolias and many other shrubs were taken,” a representative of the firm said.
