TRAGEDY AT ROTORUA
Four Bodies Recovered (N Z Press Association) ROTORUA, Sept. 10. The bodies of four of the five persons drowned when a Sea Scouts, cutter capsized on Lake Rotorua yesterday have now been recovered. Two bodies, those of Dawson Lloyd Wilkinson, aged 35, single, assistant scoutmaster, and Anthony Bertram Cunningham, aged 16, son of Mr and Mrs Cunningham, of Rotorua, were found last night. They were lashed to the cutter. Later in the night the body of David Graham Henderson, son of Mr and Mrs G. Henderson, of Rotorua, was found near the Ohau channel. This afternoon a launch, searching north of the channel which connects.. Lake Rotorua and Lake Rotoiti, found the body of Christopher Wales, son of Mr and Mrs A. R. Wales, of Rotorua. He was wearing a life-jacket. Land and water searches for the body of Grant McFarlane, son of Mr and Mrs L. McFarlane, of 77 Malfroy road, Rotorua, continued until dark and would resume at first light tomorrow.
