FLYOVER TENDER
Acceptance Likely A tender recommended by the works committee for the construction of the Moorhouse avenue fly-over will be submitted to the Christchurch City Council for its approval on September 21. Six tenders were submitted for the job. That recommended is believed to be close to the estimate for the construction of the fly-over—-£loo,ooo. According to the chairman of the works committee (Cr. A. R. Guthrey) once council approval is obtained work on the project will begin almost immediately. The fly-over should be completed about nine months after work began, he said.
