Other photographs for issue to newspapers in Asia show a South Island high-country sheep station, aerial topdressing, a car assembly plant, a ski plane on the glaciers, a North Island dairy herd, the port of Wellington, and the geothermal steam station at Wairakei.

There are also photographs of the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake),. the Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Marshall), and executive officers of the mission, including the leader (Mr L. R. AdamsSchneider, M.P.) and the secretary (Mr R. T. Alston, secretary of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association). The mission is going well

armed with “hand-outs” on many aspects of New Zealand life, some of which are in Chinese and Malay. Then there is information on the 18 firms, three producer boards, the Tourist and Publicity Department, and an airline which are sending representatives. The mission will visit Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Manila before returning to New Zealand on November 16. Among the items it hopes to sell are meat, dairy products, fresh, frozen, and dried fruits and vegetables, fish, agricultural machinery, livestock and tallow, light machinery, fabrics, car safety belts, motor-vehicle parts and car radios, building materials, paper and paper-board, wood pulp, timber, and newsprint, leather and skins, washing machines, cookers, heaters, irons, and vacuum cleaners, carpets, tobacco, metal scrap, cut flowers, laminated plastic, furniture, radio valves, deer byproducts, cosmetics, toilet preparations, souvenirs, and sports goods.
