D. CAMERON SUSPENDED
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, September 9. Near the half-mile in the Tauranga Novice Stakes No. 2 at Gisborne today Optional (V. R Coley), Piako (G. W. Carson) and Justify (R. W. Taylor) were all cheeked and lost their positions. D. F. Cameron, the rider of Clairvoyant, was charged with being responsible for the interference. After hearing evidence from the riders concerned, R. C. Smith (Blue Stand) and the stipendiary stewards, the committee found the charge proved and accordingly suspended Cameron from race-riding from the conclusion of the day's racing up to and including September 19.
