Halberg To Make Bid
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 9. M. G. Halberg will attempt a qualifying time for the Olympic 5000 metres at the Lovelock * track on Saturday if conditions are suitable. Halberg said today that It would be a training run unless conditions were right. He has to run three miles in 13min 34.95ec before the end of the month to qualify.
