Captain From Canterbury J (N Z. Press Association) MASTERTON, September 9 The Canterbury player, J. Taylor, will captain the New Zealand women’s indoor basketball team to make a 13-match tour of Australia. The team, announced at Masterton tonight, Is: J. Taylor (Canterbury, captain), S. Morrison (Nelson), W. Hall (Palmerston North), J. Pellew, S. McPhee (Wairarapa), M. Watts, G. Clements, P. Harford, M. Ward Wellington). Reserves: S. Chamberlain (Canterbury), B. Baxter (Wanganui). The team flies to Sydney on September 21 and the Itinerary will be.— September 23, v. Brisbane: 24, v. Toowoomba- 25, v. Brisbane, 27, v. Newcastle: 29, v. Lithgow. October 1, v. Benalla, Victoria; 2, v. Victoria, at Melbourne; 3, v. Victoria, at Melbourne; 5, v South Australia, at Adelaide; 7, v. South Australia Rest, at Adelaide: 8, v. South Australia, at Adelaide; 10, v. Tasmania, at Devonport: 11, v. Tasmania, at Devonport.
