House Sold For £1305
A square weatherboard house at 79 Shakespeare road, Waltham, was sold for £1305 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr A. E. Barrell. The initial bid was £l2OO. There was one bid of £5O, one of £25, two of £lO, and two of £5. The house has four bedrooms, lounge, > living-room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. The house and a garage are on a section of a quarter of an acre. The rates are £25.15s Id, and the Government valuation £1525.
