Fares May Rise
The Auckland Transport Board is considering a rise in bus fares to meet its extra wages bill of £35,000 for the balance of the year and £65.000 a year as the result of the Arbitration Court’s last General Wage Order. The likely rise will be Id a section, excluding the first.—(P.A.)
