NEW ZEALAND LAMB FOR OLYMPIC ATHLETES.—The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has made a gift of 30001b of prime lamb to the Olympic Games authorities. The upper photograph shows Mr T. Inumaru, chairman of the food services committee of the Yoyogi Olympic village, formally receiving the gift from Mr E. B. E. Taylor, New Zealand Ambassador to Japan, at a ceremony in Tokyo. On the right is Sir Andrew Linton, a member of the Meat Producers’ Board. The other photograph shows some of the many newspaper and television representatives who attended the function and gave wide coverage to the event. The lamb will be served to athletes and officials in the Olympic villages.
