Kay Filou Should Turn Tables At Gisborne Today

Kay Filou, which was beaten only by half a head by Le Voleur in the Fraser Memorial Handicap at the Hunt Club’s meeting on Saturday, is strongly fancied to turn the tables on him in the President’s Handicap, first leg of the T.A.B. double at the Poverty Bay Turf Club’s meeting in Gisborne on Wednesday. The second leg is the Makaraka Handicap for which Wee Amyn is a form prospeet There is an on-course double on the County Hurdles and the Poverty Bay Steeplechase. The track is heavy. The Irish-trained Santa Claus, the winner of the Epsom and Irish Derby Classics, will not run in the St. Leger at Doncaster on Wednesday. This was announced today byCaptain T.
