LONDON, Sept. 8. Indonesia will send its athletes and swimmers to the Tokyo Olympic Games in spite of the ban imposed by the international swimming and athletics federations, the official Antara News Agency said in Djakarta yesterday. Antara added: “Indonesian sports officials expect the Japanese hosts to try tb clear the hurdle for the Indonesian sportsmen”
The agency quoted the Indonesian Sports Minister as saying: “Japan is the host and if a guest is invited to a party, the host should take care that the guests will be admitted.” International swimming and athletic authorities banned swimmers and athletes who took part in last November’s Games of the New Emerging Forces in Djakarta for participating without their approval.
