Star Player In Hospital
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, Sept. 8. The Wanganui hockey side took the field against India yesterday with its star insideleft, W. Brasting, a former North Island player, in hospital. Brasting, who gave Hinemoa the Wanganui senior club championship on Saturday by scoring four goals, ran into a pipe at work three hours before the match, and was taken to hospital with torn muscles in his leg. It was the second set-back for Brasting this season. Earlier in the year he scalded his foot with boiling water, keeping him out of hockey for three weeks.
