T.A.B.

Sir, —On going to the T.A.B. this morning to take a double and place a bet at the Levin meeting I had to go to two windows, one for doubles and the other for bets. With only a few minutes to spare before get ? ting tb business, into the queue, take a double, then into another queue for the bet, time running out, could not wait to place the bet. Friday evenings, tea from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.; two windows open, sometimes eight to 15 in a queue, some of them with big lists of bets and doubles. Why not a quickservice window for five-bob punter?—Yours, etc., BACK TO THE BOOKIE. July 31, 1964. [The Totalisator Agency Board had no comment to make.]
