Study Grant
The executive of the National Council of Churches in New Zealand has approved a grant of £lOO to enable the Rev. A. H. Hall to undertake 11 weeks’ study in Brisbane with a view to carrying on translation work in the South Pacific. Mr Hall has been engaged for the last two years by the overseas missions department of the Methodist Church of New Zealand in full-time translation of the Old Testament into Roviana—a language of the British Solomon Islands. After his study course at Brisbane he will continue his studies at the Australian National University at Canberra.
