Charitable Bequest
A bequest of £l4OO to the Salvation Army’s Men's Social Service, Addington, is contained in the will of Mr James Morton, a retired farmer, of Christchurch, who died on July 2. The bequest was for £lOO clear for every £lOOO in the estate before duty. The Supreme Court recently granted probate of the will which was sworn at less than £14,000.
