PLUNKET BALL
i 270 Guests Attend Mrs N. Densem (president) and Mr N. E. Kirk, M.P. (patron) welcomed the 270 guests jwho attended the second anj nual ball of the Opawa-St. I Martins sub-branch of the iPlunket Society, held at the I North Country Club recently. Among those specially invited were Mrs N. Taylor (president of the Mothers Clubs' Council) and Mr Taylor: Mrs J. Eade (district Plunket Nurse) and Mr Eade. Representatives from the Bishopdale and Richmond Mothers’ Clubs were also I present. j Chairman of the Opawa Mothers’ Club (Mrs V. Anderson) organised the even- ; ing’s entertainment, which ; included two floor shows. j Mrs Densem wore a champagne silk brocade cocktail | frock. Mrs Anderson wore ian off-the-shoulder of gold I lurex. the full skirt of which was worn over a full underskirt of net. I Bouquets were presented by Mrs Densem to Mesdames Ip. Wood and V. Anderson.
