Errant Ogo
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) GREENBELT (Maryland), Sept. 7. Ogo, America’s sophisticated but troublesome new satellite, headed back to earth still on its first orbit yesterday with project scientists preparing another attempt to get it operating fully. They planned to begin “interrogating” the in-sect-like robot craft to find out how the experimental packages in two faulty booms are operating. Then after analysing data with the aid of the computers at the Goodard spaceflight centre at Greenbelt, they will probably make another attempt to get the 40mdollar satellite to stabilise itself.
