TROPHIES GIVEN
Championship . Series "The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN, Sept 2. Solid support from all parts of the South Island will ensure that trophies will be presented to* the owners of the winners of the 28 races at the Inter-Dominion Championship series to be-held at Forbury Park in February and March next year. The trophy for the winner of the Inter-Dominion Championship . is valued 'at £275. The trophy for the winner of the trotting championship is £175. Apart from two or three minor events in which the trophies are valued at £5O the value of the other events is not to be less than £75. Trophies on points basis for trainers and drivers will also be provided.
