THE VEN, H. A. CHILDS, Archdeacon of Wellington, who has been appointed Deans of Waiapu. Archdeacon Childs attended College House, Christchurch, and was vicar of Geraldine before going to Wellington as vicar of Karori in 1951, He served his curacy at Sydenham, and was vicar of Tinwald. and priest-in-charge of Hokitika. Archdeacon Childs will take up his position in Napier in December.
