MALAYANS DETAINED
(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright! KUALA LUMPUR, September 1. In the Pontion area of Malaya, four Malayan politicians have been detained under the Internal Security Act, according to a police spokesman in Kuala Lumpur today.
The spokesman said that one of the detainees was an official of the Left-wing Opposition Socialist Front Party. He declined to give details of the other three detained politicians. Government leaders and officials had earlier charged that two Socialist Front officials were with Indonesian guerrillas who landed in Pontian last month. The Socialist Front has, however, denied complicity with Indonesian infiltrators.
