Good B Team
Competition in the Canterbury Rugby Union’s under 6st A grade this season was no less keen than in all the many other grades, and it was therefore very much to the credit of the Linwood B team that it finished the season with so good a record. It was the only B team in the competition. Its many successes were attributable in the main to a strong pack of forwards, D. Calder, with his drive and determination in lineouts and rucks, was an excellent leader. In the backs, G. Stocker at full-back showed particular promise; but the Linwood B side was very much a team.
