Guild’s Sixth Birthday

The Phillipstown Townswomen’s Guild celebrated its sixth anniversary at an afternoon party recently. Guests and representatives of sister guilds were welcomed by the president (Mrs G. Pistor). Mesdames R. Allison, A. Thomson and C. G. Crawford officiated at the gutting of the birthday cake. A programme of entertainment included songs by the St Albans League of Mothers’ choir (led by Mrs N. W. Burney) and two monologues.
