LOCAL BODY LOANS
£250,000 Raised By Lyt. H. Bd. Only one local body loan, that of the Lyttelton Harbour Board, came on the market during August arid was quickly filled. The loan was the harbour board’s first instalment of its £500,000 No. 9 1964 port development loan and was for £250,000. Later this year the second instalment, also of £250,000; will go on the market. August was a quiet month for loans. No other local body had loans on the market, but several will have loans later this year or’early m 1965.
