Road-Speed Reducer

The Minister for Transport, Mr G. Freeth, today suggested a “jolt gadget” to give speeding motorists an uncomfortable ride. The gadgets should be placed at half-mile intervals along highways, he said. If a driver exceeded the speed limit, the gadgets “would give him a jolt.”
