Halt If Fish Endangered
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, August 30. The Government will be prepared to halt temporarily any diversion of Wanganui or Whakapapa river headwaters if the flow falls off to a point where it could endanger game fish. This is one of the points which the Minister of Electricity (Mr Shand) makes in a letter to the Federation of Lake Taupo Angling, Shooting and Boating Clubs.
