Rangers, with wins of 5-1 (Saturday) and 4-0 (yesterday) over Shirley 8.H.5.0.8., have gone into the lead in the C. E. Keys Cup soccer competition. ..Their programme completed. th<Jy one point—ahead of University. vhicli, drew 1-1 -with Christchurch 8.H.5.0.8. These two teams have to play each'other again, probably on September 19, and University must win the game to take the trophy. It has a goal average of 14-7 to Rangers' 15-7. and a draw would not be sufficient to win the trophy.
