Issue Of Writs
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Aug. 27 Two widows of seamen lost in the Voyager disaster have issued High Court writs seeking unspecified damages from the Government. The first writ was issued on July 16 on behalf of Mrs Nancy Helen MacGregor, and her four children. Her husband, lan Alexander Gregor MacGregor, was a seaman in the Voyager. A second writ has been issued on behalf of M r s Marie Elizabeth Syme, aged 31, and her three-year-old daughter. Mrs Syme is the widow of William John Syme, aged 31, who was a leading cook in the Voyager.
